Voices for Ukraine

Olive Malcolm, of Malmesbury Abbey, has contributed to a book of poetry being sold in support of the people of Ukraine. Olive writes:

The collection has been produced by a group of writers from the UK, Europe and the USA in response to the desperate and ongoing humanitarian crisis, which has horrified us all. We wanted to do something both to offer practical support and to show our solidarity with those whose lives have been devastated by the conflict.

Funds raised will be donated directly to the World Central Kitchen (WCK), whose relief team is providing nourishing meals to refugees fleeing across the border into Poland, Romania, Moldova and Hungary, as well as making deliveries of food into Ukraine where possible.

Copies of the book, which has just been published, are available from Malmesbury Abbey, either from the bookshop or the stewards at the reception desk. Please help us to bring much needed aid and hope to the people of Ukraine by donating £5 (or more!) to receive your copy.”
